On December 15th, LIFE Coalition for Business & Biodiversity was launched during side event promoted by LIFE Institute, on second part of the 15th Conference of the Parties (COP) that counts with196 nations signatories of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD), in Montreal, Canada.
Neocert is officially a LIFE Accredited Certifying Body able to carry out the LIFE Certification process!
To be accredited, Neocert went through an approval process which includes the assessment of requirements related to the exemption, impartiality, transparency, credibility, structure and technical capacity. In addition to following specific procedures from the Accreditation Protocol of LIFE Certifying Bodies and the trend of the best international practices related to the management of certification systems.
Launched the Public Summary of LIFE Standard on Sustainable Territorial Management
The development of the Standard involved stakeholders from 15 countries, 05 workshops with working groups (environmental, economic, social and cultural) with representatives from the public and private sectores, 02 public consultations, 04 webinars of the International network on Sustainable Territorial Management, 02 Field missions, additionally to several meetings of projects’ scientific committee, LIFE Institute Permanent Technical Committee and Board of Directors.
