On 13th and 14th of June, LIFE Institute representative in Europe, Fernanda Toledo, participated and presented LIFE Methodology at the II Natural Capital Summit in Barcelona. The event was organized by ECOACSA, an organization that works on the evaluation of risks and opportunities for companies and promotes the implementation of tools for the conservation of Natural Capital.

The objective of this event, since its first edition, is to promote the exchange of information and updates of concepts, trends and approaches in the global scope of Natural Capital. In this second edition were presented cases, initiatives and projects involving Natural Capital in companies as well as in the government sector.

The LIFE Methodology assists in the development of strategies for the conservation of Natural Capital in line with business development. It was presented at the event the success story of Banco ABN AMRO, the first financial institution to receive the LIFE Certification in Brazil. ABN AMRO Bank supports a large mammal conservation project in the region of Lagamar, the largest continuous stretch of Atlantic Forest in the country.
