4th Workshop of International Standard on Sustainable Territorial Management

The Internacional Standard on Sustainable Territorial Management will establish clear rules so that actors that have an influence on sustainable territorial management can adapt and coordinate their actions to jointly promote sustainability.

The 4th Workshop of the Working Groups was held on March, 5th, 2020.  This is one of the forums of participation involved on the technical development of the Standard. With nearly 40 people, based on the Principles previously discussed, the participants started to suggest posible criteria to the Standard, considering their applicability in the field.

“The idea is that any organization, private of public, rural or urban, located in any territory in the world, will be able to use the Standard to evaluate and direct their actions on the territory in a sustainable way”, mentions Regiane Salata, Management Technical Coordinator of LIFE Institute.
